Welcome to the blog of the Edinburgh University Students’ Association (EUSA) Liberation Groups!

EUSA has four Liberation Groups, each representing a community of students who have traditionally been marginalised or oppressed, either in Higher Education or in society more broadly.

The four Liberation Groups are: WomenLGBT+Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) and Disability and Mental Wellbeing (DMW). Each group has a convener who is elected by students who self-define into that group.

If you would like more information on the Groups, then please visit the individual group pages above or contact the conveners listed below:

You can also check out this great guide to Liberation activism, written by EUSA VPSA (2014-15) Eve Livingston.

If you would like to be kept up-to-date with what the Liberation Groups are up to, please like their Facebook page, which you can find here.

If you are unsure of who to contact, have an administrative question about the groups, or are having trouble getting in touch with conveners then please email Sarah Moffat, the full-time staff member who supports the Liberation Groups, at sarah.moffat@eusa.ed.ac.uk.
